Went to Valencia last weekend and had a blast. It was a pretty intense trip because we went at 1am Saturday and didn't leave til 4am sunday, so we all went a few days without sleep. We arrived around 6am and only saw about 10 people in the whole city until 9 or so. We walked around the empty streets of the old city for a few hours and when the Miguelete tower opened (top photo) we climbed the 270 spiral stairs to the top and could see the entire city. We went to the beach in the afternoon, then went to find some paella, a dish that Valencia is known for. After that we saw where they will be holding the 2007 America's Cup, and went to their Science Museum (bottom two photos). At night we saw cirque du soleil which was about the most amazing show I've ever seen. After that we went to a few bars and made our way back to the bus station. It was a pretty full day.
